2 Corinthians 7:13-8:7 Complete Confidence

Paul closes the section of this book on defining and defending his Apostolic gift bragging on both the Church and Titus. Then in chapters 8-9 he begins a discussion on giving. Again, he has complete confidence the church will do the right thing.

2 Corinthians 7:5-13 Fighting Without, Fear Within

Paul comes back to the flow of the letter from chapter 2 verse 13 regarding the trip to Macedonia. He discloses his happiness in the good news from Titus, and some of the struggles he faced while waiting for the report from Titus.

2 Corinthians 7:1-4 Die Together, Live Together

After giving the Church what I call a “Promise Sandwich”, Paul states again his love for them. This is significant because under the influence of false teachers and false apostles they have abused Paul and scorned his reputation.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Yoked With Unbelievers

Here the Apostle Paul describes what the life of a person who is reconciled to God looks like. We are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers; this is not just, or even primarily, about marriage. We are to separate from unbelievers in our most personal relationships.

2 Corinthians 5:11-6:2 Ministry of Reconciliation

Recently, Paul talked about “this treasure in jars of clay” (4:7). In these verses he explains the purpose to this treasure in jars of clay; it is that the jars os clay (Christians) are given the ministry of reconciliation. We are to facilitate reconciling people to God.

2 Corinthians 4:7-18 Treasure in Jars of Clay

The Treasure in Jars of Clay is the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. The jars of clay are the messengers of the gospel. Why would God put His most glorious treasure in such frail containers? This is our discussion today.

2 Corinthians 4:1-6 Integrity in Ministry

You would not think the Apostle Paul would have to defend his integrity to this congregation, but he does. His approach to ministry, to life, is an example for all of us. Is the glory of the gospel veiled in your life due to either ignorance or rebellion? Check it out.

2 Corinthians 3:1-18 The Glory of the New Covenant

Paul contrasts the fading glory of the Old Covenant, the Mosaic System, with the everlasting glory of the New Covenant. The fundamental difference is the working of the Spirit of God to enable the Believer in Jesus to love and obey the Law.
