Daniel 12:1-13 The End of the Matter

The visions of Daniel are finished with this passage. We learn about the last days, and how some of the visions remain a mystery even to this day.

Daniel 11:20-35 Antiochus IV Epiphanes

The angel continues to give Daniel a glimpse into the future of Israel and the kingdom to the South and to the North. There are many parallels in our world today. I am again summarizing from the bible Knowledge Commentary. This is not for the politically squeamish.

Daniel 11:1-20 The North and the South

The coming struggle between the armies North and South of Israel are detailed by the angel. These are very specific prophecies and cover a few hundred years. Due to the volume of information, I am summarizing from the Bible Knowledge Commentary.

Daniel 10:1-21 The Fantastic Person

Daniel has an unforgettable guest drop by as he was praying; even more stunning than Gabriel in chapter 9. The conflict this being relates to Daniel is as ancient as sin, and as current as the headlines today.

Daniel 9:24-27 More on the “Seventy Weeks”

This is a long one. We examine in more depth the seventy weeks of Daniel, looking at four different “schools” of interpretation. This discussion has more audience participation than most of our presentations. It is long, but it is a good overview.

Daniel 11:20-25 Seventy Sevens

The vision of the “Seventy Sevens” is an intriguing study into prophecy and will lead us into discussions of the “Last Days.”

Daniel 7:1-28 Daniel’s First Vision

The first recorded vision of Daniel has to do with four great beasts coming out of the sea representing four kingdoms (or kings). then the Ancient of Days arrives, and one like a son of man is presented to Him. We will explore all of this.

Daniel 7:1-8 The Vision

The historical, story portion of Daniel is finished. From this point forward, Daniel tells of several visions he had, and the interpretations he was given. There is a lot of debate among scholars regarding the interpretations and I don’t pretend to have all the answers. No-one does.

Daniel 6:1-28 Civil Disobedience

Daniel is stuck between a rock and a hard place. The Supreme Ruler has forbidden prayer to any god except himself for a period of 30 days. How should Daniel respond? He chooses civil disobedience, and pays the price for it.

Daniel 5:1-31 Belshazzzar and the Fall of Babylon

Belshazzar, the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar. Belshazzar plays the fool on the eve of destruction. He knew of Daniel, and of his own grandfather Nebuchadnezzar, but he failed to learn some humility during his brief stint as king. Destruction was knocking on the door while he partied.
