2 Timothy 3:14-17 The Value of The Scriptures

Imagine a world without Christianity. Imagine a world without the Holy Bible, the Word of God. Paul stresses the importance of knowing and living the Bible to Timothy, and to us.

2 Timothy 3:10-13 The Expectations of Discipleship

Paul relates to Timothy his own journey of discipleship, of living a godly life. Timothy should not expect any different treatment from the world, and neither should we. The world hates the truly professing Christian.

Book of Revelation Summary

This is a summary of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. We probably should have done the first, but it is a helpful review and summary. I use the book “A Theology of the New Testament” by George Eldon Ladd for this review.

Galatians 2:15-21 Justification By Faith Alone

“… by works of the law no one will be justified.” These words mean exactly what they say. But the history of man shows that we all try to ‘appease’ the ‘god(s)’ one way or another. Paul settles the discussion in this passage.

Revelation 22:8-21 Closing Statements

John brings the book to a close. He makes statements regarding the veracity of this vision; regarding the soon-coming of the Lord Jesus; and the duty of mankind. He urges those who hear (and read) this book to give heed to the prophecy.
